Whether you are searching for a faster total-body recovery, or targeted treatment, consider one of our cryotherapy options for your health & wellness routine.
***Please Note***
You are unable to experience WBC if you have any of the following:
Uncontrolled high blood pressure | Prior heart attack | Unstable chest pain | disease of blood vessels | History of blood clots | Uncontrolled seizure disorder | Cold allergy | Open sores | Nerve pain in feet or legs | Pregnancy | Raynaud’s disease | Conditions or disease with increased sensitivity to cold
What to Expect for Your Cryo Session
While we provide you with gloves, socks and shoes specifically for the cryotherapy session, men must wear boxers, briefs or compression shorts. It is recommended women wear undergarments. We suggest a sports bra as nothing metal can be against the skin during a cryo session.
You will be given a robe to put on. You can wear it into the chamber and pass it out over the top to preserve modesty, should you only wear undergarments. We will hand it back to you before stepping out of the chamber.
Dry clothing, dry skin and dry hair is required! Don’t come directly after a shower or workout. Make sure you do not apply lotion to your skin for several hours before a cryo session. This is extremely important and we will make sure, probably a few times, that you are not wearing damp clothes.
All metal piercings and jewelry must be removed from the neck down during your session.
You are in complete control of your session. There will always be a cryo tech with you in the room to guide you through your experience. If you want to stop the cold or stop the session all together, you just have to say the word and it will be done!
Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC) is short exposure to extreme cold in our cryosauna. Our WBC is a fast and effective alternative to traditional ice baths. In under three minutes, a dry chill drops the ambient temperature to a range of -130F to -184F. Chill and find relief! It will leave you feeling refreshed and ready for anything.
WBC is more systemic than local and affects the whole body. We recommend WBC for the following:
To help with chronic pain management
Decrease inflammation and speed up healing
Decrease spasms
All athletes and weekend warriors looking for muscle recovery
Recover faster from workouts, reducing post-workout soreness
Increase range of motion
Endorphin mood boost
Increase metabolism to support weight loss efforts
Support the immune system
Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC)
Local Cryotherapy
This 6-8 minute treatment focus the power of cryotherapy to a specific area. This treatment will ice a specific area, decreasing the inflammatory response and the pain you feel. Our clients report a decrease in pain as soon as we finish the treatment, and faster recovery than traditional icing at home.
Why local cryotherapy?
Decreases inflammation and reduces swelling
Helps increase mobility
Helps injuries, sprains and strains
Reduces pain from tendonitis and carpal tunnel syndrome
Faster recovery can mean harder workouts
Promotes rapid healing
Local Cryotherapy is a form of therapy that rapidly cools down the skin. It involves applying a stream of nitrogen vapor to the target area (a sore joint or injury). A local cryotherapy treatment provides the patient with a rush of oxygenated blood, a natural analgesic effect, and a reduction in muscle tension in the treatment area to reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation - fast and efficiently.
Local Cryotherapy
Cryofacial
This is a 10-11 minute treatment using our local cryo machine. Here, the power of the therapy is directed to the scalp, face and neck area.
